Q1 2024 Performance of Top Sandbox Games on iOS in Brazil

Sandbox games continue to captivate Brazilian iOS users, as evidenced by the latest data from Sensor Tower. Here's a look at how the top five sandbox games fared in the first quarter of 2024.

Roblox, a perennial favorite, saw its revenue fluctuate, peaking at $244K in the second week of January before settling around $150K-$190K in March. Downloads showed a downward trend from 74K in the first week of January to around 50K in March, while weekly active users increased from 939K to 965K by the end of the quarter.

The Sims™ FreePlay experienced modest revenues, starting the quarter with $1.7K and seeing a spike to $2.1K in mid-March before dropping slightly to $1.1K. Downloads saw a high of 20K in late January, but generally hovered between 9K-16K. Active users peaked at 24K in the third week of January and showed a slight increase from 13K to 14K in the last weeks of March.

Block Craft 3D: Building Games had revenues that varied, reaching highs of $396 in mid-February and lows of $155-$159 in late February and late March. Downloads remained consistent, ranging from 9K to 12K. Weekly active users saw a high of 70K in late March, indicating stable engagement.

RealmCraft - Block Craft World did not generate revenue this quarter. However, downloads peaked at 11K in mid-February and ended the quarter with a strong 9.5K. The game’s active users showed growth, starting at 29K and climbing to 42K by the end of March.

Lastly, Avakin Life: 3D Avatar Creator saw revenues that were generally low, with a notable increase to $1.7K in the second week of January before falling to under $500 for the rest of the quarter. Downloads began at 6K and had a slight rise to 4.3K towards the end of March. Active users started at 9.2K and saw a slight uptick to 6.3K in the last week of March.
